I can't believe April is here! Please be sure to complete the Solar Eclipse Form indicating your dismissal
plan for your child on next Monday, April 8th.
We have our BOGO Book Fair during the week
of April 15-19 and two Lunch with a Loved One
Picnics: Tuesday, April 16th-grades 3rd, 4th, 5th &
Thursday, April 18th-grades K, 1st, and 2nd. More
information to come.
Eastbrook will host our 2nd Annual Science Day on
Monday, April 22nd (Earth Day). Our amazing
teachers are planning a fun day of science for our
students. Additionally, our 5th grade students are
preparing to teach their science lessons to the
younger grades!
Finally, parents, we are in the final stretch of the
school year and we need your help in order to ensure our students meet their goals.
K parents:
Please help your child learn all of the kindergarten
sight words and with independent reading.
1st grade parents:
Please help your child learn all of the first grade
sight words and with independent reading.
2nd grade parents:
Please help your child read more for understanding
to build comprehension skills.
3rd grade parents:
Please help your child continue to build literacy skills
and memorize multiplication facts.
4th grade parents:
Please help your child continue to build literacy
skills, practice writing, and memorize multiplication
facts.
5th grade parents:
Please help your child continue to build literacy
skills, practice writing, memorize multiplication facts,
and ask him or her to explain what they learned in
science for the day or week.
